Oxygen is an essential element for humans and all living things. It makes up around 21% of the air you breathe, making earth the only planet in the solar system with enough oxygen gas to allow us to survive. However, breathing too much oxygen can result in oxygen posioning and could kill you.
Oxygen is found in the air we breathe and the water we drink. It also makes up 21% of the earth's ozone layer that protects our planet.
