Fluorine is the first element and the lightest in the family of halogen gases. It is the most chemically reactive element and is extremely dangerous and poisonous.
Fluorine is used in rocket fuel, because it is a very reactive element it makes it good for explosive reactions. Fluorine can also be found in toothpaste. Scientists put very small amounts of fluorine inside toothpaste to help make your teeth whiter.
