Carbon has been around for an extremely long time. It is another element that earth depends on and is one of the six elements that make up 99% of the human body. When we breathe out we let out carbon dioxide.

Carbon can be found in many different forms. All plants contain carbon, without it plants would not exist. It is also what diamonds are made off and the tip of pencils you write with.
